Mindfulness and Creative Mindfulness
Mindfulness work with children is not about teaching them to meditate or practise yoga. It does involve the therapeutic use of meditative and breathing techniques but it is also about relaxation and enjoyment, imaginative thinking and having fun. Engaging with Mindfulness can help young people with stress reduction, self-calming and emotional regulation. It can also hugely increase their ability to focus, to concentrate and learn.
